Another child brand of the General Motor Cars company, Chevrolet is a much loved generic car brand with a wide range of models. It was originally established in 1911 by a Swiss racing driver and several investors. You can find owner’s manuals for the popular Chevrolet models still on the road and in production on this page.

Blazer

Cobalt

Colorado

The Colorado and GMC Canyon are both mid-size pickup trucks built the same but with slight differences. Production of the models began in 2003 and when they were both introduced they were originally classed as compact pickup trucks

Corvette

The first Corvette to hit the roads was back in the 1950s and was available as a convertible only. Traditionally the Corvette has been a front-engined rear-wheel-drive muscle car but the most recent version sees the engine mounted behind the driver for the first time

Cruze

Originally the Cruze name was used to sell a rebadged Suzuki Ignis but in 2008 Chevrolet released their own in-house developed model. Up until 2019 when the model was discontinued it was built on the same platform as the Volt and Buick Verano

Equinox

Replacing several SUV lines in 2005, the Chevrolet Equinox was the company's new flagship mid-size crossover SUV. Eventually, in 2018 the size of the car shrank slightly and it was reclassified as a compact crossover SUV

Impala

Introduced in the late-1950s, the Impala is classed as a mid-size sedan, built upon the same platform as the Cadillac XTS. It is one of the best-selling cars ever in the United States and was even sung about by the Beach Boys in the song 409

Malibu

The Malibu line has been running since the 1960s and has stayed relatively the same shape and size. It's classed as a mid-size car and in recent years has gained hybrid drivetrain offerings to help it compete against more economical competitors

Silverado

This Silverado is a full-size pickup truck that regularly appears in the top spots of the best-selling cars in the USA list. It is near identical to the GMC Sierra, although that model contains a slightly higher level of luxury features

Sonic

You can find the Chevrolet Sonic on the roads of the USA and Asian markets as either a 5-door hatchback or a 4-door sedan. Production began in 2011 and in 2016 the can received a facelift that improved the exterior styling and added new equipment inside

Spark

When Daewoo Motors was bought out by Chevrolet they rebadged the Matiz as the Spark. It is classed as a subcompact car and was made available as an all-electric version called the Spark EV for a few years before switching its focus to the Bolt

Tahoe

The Tahoe is classed as a full-size SUV and has been rebadged to be sold as the GMC Yukon and the Cadillac Escalade. First examples of the SUV were produced in the early-1990s and many police forces in the USA use them in some way or another

Trailblazer

At the start of the 1990s, the Trailblazer was introduced as Chevrolet's mid-size SUV. It continued to sell for around 10 years until it was eventually replaced by the company's new mid-size crossover SUV the Traverse

Traverse

The Traverse was first introduced to the public in 2008 using the same platform as the GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave. Originally it was a full-size SUV but was reclassified as a mid-size SUV later on. All Traverse models have a 9-speed automatic transmission

Trax

This Trax model is classed as a subcompact crossover SUV and replaced the Tracker and HHR lines. Production began in 2012 with the platform being taken from the Chevrolet Aveo. 2017 saw a facelift of the Trax adding alloy wheels as standard

Volt

For a brief time, this Volt model was the world's best-selling plug-in all-electric car in 2018. This was thanks to the technology inside the car being pushed to new limits as the range was increased massively every few years by Chevrolet
