2023 Citroën C3 Aircross Owner’s Manual

In an era when most vehicles in any given market follow a similar cookie-cutter exterior layout, the Citroën C3 Aircross goes the exact opposite way. There is zero chance you would be looking for the C3 Aircross in a parking lot for long, irrespective of the number of cars present.

The Citroën C3 Aircross features unique styling that is unlike anything else on the road, absolutely flying in the face of today’s extremely conservative design culture.

With the 2023 Citroën C3 Aircross, the company backpedals a bit on the SUV’s funky looks, slimming down the vehicle’s previously square headlights. However, they also make the front grill broader and more pronounced, giving the car’s front a more menacing look that accentuates the existing silhouette and creates a more mature look.

The base Aircross is far from plush, with abundant rigid plastic panels. However, on the style front, the cabin does have good looks to match its adventurous exterior. Plus, the higher trim ditches the excessive plastic for fabric paddings on the dashboards and doors.

Also new to the setup is a new offering of 16-inch and 17-inch wheels that combine with the C3’s boxy shape and new heavily-clad black bumper that hints at rugged off-road-worthiness.
However, in reality, the Aircross is far from dirt-worthy.

The engine on the C3 Aircross does not pack any decent punch, and there is no all-wheel drive option on any of its trims.

The base engine is a 110-horsepower, 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 190 pound-feet of torque and pairs with a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Other options include a mild-hybrid 134-horsepower four-cylinder 1.5-liter diesel engine and the range-topping four-cylinder 1.6-liter plug-in hybrid setup that outputs 160 horsepower and 360 pound-feet of torque.
