2024 Toyota RAV4 Owner’s Manual

With this year’s model, the 2024 Toyota RAV4, Toyota marks three decades of uninterrupted RAV4 production, the latter of which has seen the model's dominance rise significantly.

The RAV4 is easily one of the most in-demand vehicles worldwide, which is easily evidenced by it coming up top as the best-selling SUV on the planet in 2019.

The RAV4’s appeal comes from a simple formula: a vehicle with as many SUV-type benefits as possible while still providing fuel economy on par with many compact sedans, prioritizing this directive over all else. The 2024 Toyota RAV4 does not stray from this ethos.

While its closest rivals, like the Volkswagen Tiguan and the Honda CR-V, currently provide stiff competition, the RAV4 is still a superstar regarding user-friendliness, affordability, and practicality. True to tradition, there is no exterior flashiness here, just a car that focuses on getting the job done, irrespective of the suburban task at hand.

The car’s interior shares the same sentiment, prioritizing comfort and storage over eye appeal, which is virtually non-existent on the base trim and only passable on the higher trim. Expect a proliferation of hardback plastics and cloth upholstery in the cabin for lower models and a more select plastic and faux-leather finishing, and more padding on the higher XLE and Limited trims.

The infotainment system is a basic 8.0-inch touchscreen (with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support) unit on most trims, with a larger 10.5-inch on the Off-Road and Limited trims. The gauge cluster is also a 7.0-inch digital display with an option 12.3-inch upgrade. Other optional upgrades include a JBL audio system, a wireless charging pad, and inbuilt navigation.

The powertrain on all models is a four-cylinder 2.5-liter engine that outputs a decent 203 HP combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
