2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Owner’s Manual

The 2023 Chevy Silverado continues to be the best-selling model for the American automaker.

Americans are still going wild for full-size pickup trucks like this Silverado and the Ford F-150 - continuously topping the sales charts year after year.

For 2023 Chevrolet is updating the diesel engine option for the pickup truck and ensuring that it produces a lot more power.

The Duramax diesel engine is seeing new injectors, pistons and other components getting updated for 2023.

This has led to these new diesel Silverado 1500s pushing out an extra 28 horsepower and 35 pound-feet of torque.

Not much else is changing for the 2023 model as the 2022 version of the pickup truck went through a mid-cycle refresh.

Those new models boasted semi-autonomous driving features and a ZR2 high-performance trim that has continued into this new model year.

Several colors are being dropped for 2023 including the Silver Ice Metallic and Cherry Red options.

Those colors are being replaced by the Sterling Gray Metallic, Harvest Bronze Metallic and Radiant Red Tintcoat paint jobs instead.

Customers can expect to see the delivery of their 2023 examples of the Silverado 1500 in early September 2022.
