The Celerio is Suzuki’s answer to popular subcompact hatchbacks like the Tata Tiago and the Hyundai Grand i10.

In this uncompetitive market segment, it is not hard to stand out, and Suzuki aims to do that by giving the Celerio a distinctive, aerodynamic look via the use of a 3D organic sculpted design, a fresh, rounded front fascia, and a new unique grille pattern, with adventurous chrome accents.

The droplet-style tail lamps and the eye-catching 15-inch black alloy wheel design further accentuate the car's unique exterior.

Similar to other top options in its class, the new Celerio also maxes out on practicality, with a roomy cabin that can comfortably fit five passengers and an ample 295-liter cargo area that can be further expanded when you fold the rear seats in a 60:40 split.

Inside, the 2023 Celerio takes a significantly more conservative approach, featuring a minimalist layout with dual-tone (neutral colors) upholstery and a basic 7-inch Sony infotainment touchscreen with WebLink support.

Under the hood, the standard engine available on the 2023 Celerio is a 1-liter 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated unit that makes 66 horsepower and 89 pound-feet of torque. There is also a diesel option in specific markets that makes 46.7 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque.

Whichever engine you choose, you get your choice of a five-speed manual transmission, an AGS automatic gearbox, or an AMT (automated manual transmission) that lets you switch between manual and automatic driving modes without using a clutch.
