2024 Lexus NX Owner’s Manual

With their 2024 NX 250, Lexus produces a light, incremental update to the lowest-cost option from their unexciting but reliable NX lineup. The 2024 NX 250 brings a few new cosmetic upgrades and safety features in an inherited build that stays true to the Lexus ethos.

Design-wise, the NX series retains the same exterior profile from the 2023 edition, with most of the interior cabin also staying unchanged. Notable modifications to the cabin are aesthetic, with new color-keyed trims on the door panels (only on select interior colors,) center console on the passenger side, and glove box.

The media system also carries over from the previous model. Here, a 9.8-inch standard touchscreen unit (with a 14-inch optional upgrade) comes with standard support for both Android Auto and Wireless Apple Carplay. With this unit, you can also enjoy cloud-based navigation, destination Assist, and Intelligent Assistant, thanks to the bundled-in access to Lexus Drive Connect Services (three-year trial.)

Furthermore, the 2024 Lexus NX 250s packs all of the standard safety features you would expect, including lane departure assist, lane-centering steering, road sign assist, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control, as well as sensors for left-turn oncoming vehicle detection and collision avoidance.

The powertrain on the 2024 NX 250 includes a four-cylinder 2.5-liter engine that reaches an output of 203 horsepower and an eight-speed automatic transmission with no continuous variability.

Unlike the higher-tier NX 350, NX 350h, and hybrid NX 450h+ models, the NX 250 does not get AWD standard. The Base NX 250, which retails at $40,205, features a front-wheel-drive, with the option to upgrade to AWD for a slight price premium.
