With the third generation Suzuki Jimny being in production since 1998, this 2023 brings a long-awaited refresh to this nameplate, albeit retaining its traditional boxy look and signature vibrant, adventurous paint job options.

The 2023 Suzuki Jimny also maintains all of its rugged off-road capability thanks to an assortment of features you typically would not find in this price bracket, such as a ladder frame chassis, standard all-wheel drive, a Limited Slip Differential traction control braking system, Hill Descent Control, a rigid axle suspension, and a low-ratio gearbox.

Although this unit sports somewhat drab, spartan interiors and a 100-horsepower 1.5-liter engine (paired with either a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual transmission) that comes in the Jimny will not knock anyone’s socks off, combined with all of the aforementioned dedicated features, it makes this nameplate into an ultra-capable off-roader that best almost everything in its price bracket in that department.
