2024 Suzuki Swift Owner’s Manual

With almost seven years (2017) since the last major Suzuki Swift redesign, the 2024 Suzuki Swift promises to bring more up-to-date aesthetics and a few more extra features to the next-gen version of this popular compact hatchback.

After teasing the new release, Suzuki is set to unveil the new Swift model at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show in October 2023. With this official presentation, we can expect a more comprehensive coverage of this vehicle's full specifications and global release details.

However, all currently available information focuses on a measured evolution of the car’s aesthetics and a general improvement in the available safety features.

The 2024 Suzuki Swift maintains the familiar silhouette from the previous model with a few aesthetic and functional changes. The new unit introduces a smaller, more clean-looking trapezoid grille (with the Suzuki badge moved from the grille to the bumper,) a more aerodynamic profile, bolder, reshaped headlights, and a shorter, rounder clamshell hood.

With the new Swift’s interior, you can expect updates to the cabin’s finishing and Suzuki’s latest 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Another critical element to this update is the addition of improved safety features, including anti-collision braking, dual-sensor brake support, a driver monitoring system, lane-assist, and automatic adaptive high beams.

The jury is still out on the powertrain for this unit. Still, indications point to the retainment of the mild-hybrid system from the previous model, with its small, economical 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine, while incorporating a new, improved Heartect platform.
