Few vehicles blend the conspicuous outdoorsy look with high brand prestige better than the Jeep Wrangler.

While this instantly recognizable rugged SUV may not be the most accommodating or spacious offering in the space, its combination of a strong personality, a character that embodies the Jeep legacy, and its vast range of available options, it is not hard to see why this model is always a bestseller.

The new 2024 Jeep Wrangler stays true to the model’s philosophy, carrying over most of its characteristics from last year, and only sports a few tech and visual tweaks.

The most significant changes to the exterior are a mild update to the front grille and an addition of over ten new wheel design options. Inside, a more extensive 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system becomes the new standard for all trims, replacing smaller 5-inch and 7-inch units used in various variants of the 2023 Wrangler. The new infotainment unit also comes bundled with Jeep’s latest software suite and retains support for onboard navigation with downloadable map data and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

For folks who err on the side of luxurious comfort rather than ruggedness for their Wrangler, Jeep has now added a more robust active noise-cancellation feature that helps to minimize cabin noise during phone calls.

Under the hood, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler packs enough power to match the commanding road view you get from the cabin. Here, Jeep offers a wealth of options with five different powertrain choices to match every budget.

The punchy base 3.6-liter V-6 outputs a respectable 285 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission to create the obvious for buyers on a budget specing out their new Wrangler.

Alternatively, you can opt for the higher 3.6-liter V-6 with a hybrid assist, the four-cylinder turbocharged block with a similar hybrid assist, a 375-horsepower plug-in hybrid engine (that allows electric-only driving,) or the range-topping 6.4-liter V-8, all of which provide progressive levels of power overkill.
