The Lincoln Nautilus is the new name of the MKX range that it is based on, following the renaming of many lines from the luxury automaker.

It is part of the second generation of the MKX but is also offered with a different engine and transmission than its previous version.

The switch took place during the 2019 model year and sees a slight change in the external appearance of the car.

Now the Nautilus is offered with the same 2.7-liter V6 it had before or a new 3.7-liter V6.

Both of these engines are mated to a new 8-speed automatic transmission controlled through the infotainment system.

Putting the car into Sport mode changes not just the transmission settings but also those found in the suspension and the steering.

The Nautilus sits in the middle of the Lincoln crossover SUV range with the Aviator and the MKC.

This new Nautilus also boasts start-stop technology and a larger touchscreen infotainment system than the MKX had before.
