About The MKX

The Lincoln MKX was a model from the luxury automaker that ran from the 2007 model year until the 2018 model year.

It was a mid-size luxury crossover SUV based on the same platform at work under the Ford Edge and the Ford Fusion.

Lincoln brought the model in to replace the old version of the Aviator that was produced for just 3 years and then revived much later in 2020.

Customers have only had one option at a time for the engine, starting with a 3.5-liter V6 and then a 3.7-liter V6.

Power is transferred to either the front wheels as standard or all four wheels if upgraded through a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The MKX was known for having a wide range of comfort and safety features that helped it stand out from the crowd.

Some of the popular features included with the car include the panoramic sunroof, sound-deadening and automatic headlights.

Occupants were amused with features such as a DVD player with surround sound and power-adjusted seating for the driver and passengers.

In 2019 the MKX was renamed to become the Nautilus with a totally refreshed styling and drivetrain.

The newer model comes with a much larger V6 engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
