About The Quattroporte

The Maserati Quattroporte is a full-size luxury sedan that brings excitement and something completely unique to the market. Whilst competitors such as Audi and BMW seem to blend into the luxury sedan space, the Quattroporte stands clear with its big engine, bold design and staggering soundtrack. It might not be as practical as these rivals, but it’s certainly more exciting.

Under the hood, the Quattroporte comes with two options. Drivers can choose from a 3.0-liter V-6, producing 345 or 424 horsepower, depending on the trim level. Alternatively, Maserati offers a 3.8-liter V8 that will produce 580 horsepower, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-60 in just over 4 seconds. One of the best things about all of these engines is the noise that they produce. No matter where you are, if you put your foot down in a Quattroporte, you’re going to turn heads and drop jaws. This makes the sports car one of the most exciting luxury sedans on the market as, instead of trying to hide its power, it wears it on its sleeve for all to see.

The handling of the Quattroporte is excellent, thanks to an innovative four-wheel-drive system. The steering feels firm and the car feels extremely agile for its size. Couple this with firm, sporty, yet comfortable suspension and this model is easily one of the most exciting luxury cars to drive. It is built on the same platform that has been engineered to be used under the Levante SUV and smaller entry-model Ghibli.

The interior is, as with a Maserati, simply beautiful. Drivers will be greeted by leather upholstery, fine plastics and a plethora of gadgets and technology. The heart of this is the 10-inch touchscreen that comes as standard. This features innovative features such as a virtual assistant and phone connectivity.

One downside of the Quattroporte is its poor practicality. Compared to rivals, the Quattroporte has a tiny boot space, which can become incredibly annoying for day-to-day use.
