The 2022 Maserati Quattroporte is easily one of the most exciting luxury sedans on the market today. It might not be able to keep up with its rivals in terms of practicality and outright performance, but it blows its competition out of the water in terms of excitement and style. There’s never a dull moment in a Quattroporte and the 2022 model has only made this great car even more entertaining.

The 2022 model has significantly simplified the trim levels of the Quattroporte compared to the 2020 and 2021 years. In fact, there are now only three options to choose from- the GT, the Modena and the Trofeo. The GT is the entry-level model and comes equipped with a 345-horsepower twin-turbo V6 engine. The next level up is the Modena, which packs a 424-horsepower version of the same engine under the hood.

Finally, the Trofeo features a big V8, as well as a variety of other upgrades. These include bigger wheels, more leather in the cabin and a more aggressive-looking trim.

The 2022 Quattroporte is arguably the most exciting luxury sedan on the market today. The Trofeo, in particular, feels utterly amazing to drive, and there’s much more character than other cars such as the Mercedes E-Class or the BMW 5-series. These competitors may offer more practicality and performance but feel very boring when compared to Maserati’s flagship.

If standing out doesn’t bother you, then the 2022 Quattroporte certainly isn’t for you. It makes little sense to opt for this car if all you want is reliability and practicality. Maserati is hardly known for this, so you’d be better to stick with a Mercedes-Benz E-Class or an Audi A6. But, if you want to turn heads, then the 2022 Maserati Quattroporte is a no-brainer!
