Under the hood, the 2023 Dodge RAM 1500 offers as much optionality as any of the big names, featuring a selection of four engine options: a 305-horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, a 395-HP 5.7-liter Hemi V8 (available standalone or as a mild hybrid,) a 260-horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6, and the ridiculously-overpowered 702-HP supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 that is available on on the range-topping TRX model.
