The Chevrolet Trailblazer nameplate appeared at the end of the 1990s as a mid-size SUV.
For 10 years the SUV was on sale before it was replaced by the Traverse crossover SUV due to plummeting sales in North America.
In Brazil and Thailand as well as Australia and New Zealand the Trailblazer continued to sell as a second-generation model that appealed to emerging markets.
In 2020 the Trailblazer was reimagined as a subcompact crossover SUV, with the off-road equipment cast aside in favor of a lighter chassis.
