About The Q50

The Infiniti Q50 went on sale for the 2014 model year and is also sold as the Nissan Skyline in some territories such as China.

You can find it on sale with either a four-wheel-drive setup or the power being fed to just the rear wheels.

The entry-level model is equipped with a 2.1-liter turbodiesel engine and the top version of the car features a gasoline 3-liter twin-turbocharged V6.

Turbodiesel-powered Q50s in Europe are fitted with a manual transmission but the rest of the range has either an automatic or Tiptronic transmission.

This model sits at the bottom of the Infiniti range of sedans with the other model in it being the Q60.

It also has a crossover SUV counterpart called the QX50 and a coupe SUV version called the QX55.

Between the years 2014 and 2018, the 3.5-liter version of the car was marketed with a hybrid option.

In 2014 the Infiniti Q50 gained a longer wheelbase version that sells exceptionally well in China called the Q50L.

The Q50L has an almost 2-inch longer wheelbase to increase the amount of legroom in the car and is only offered as a 2-liter turbocharged gasoline with a 7-speed automatic transmission.
