The 2017 Citroen C3 Aircross is a small SUV designed to rival the likes of the SEAT Arona and the Kia Stonic. It features a high-riding style, which makes the Aircross very similar to a hatchback to drive. Under the hood, the 2017 Aircross comes with a variety of options. Base models come equipped with a 1.2-liter petrol engine, producing just 82 horsepower. This engine is incredibly slow and uninspiring and unless you’re on a tight budget, an upgrade is highly recommended. One of the best choices would be the 1.5-liter diesel, which produces 118 horsepower. This engine feels much more capable on the roads and makes the Aircross pretty fun to drive.

The overall ride of the Aircross is very disappointing. The suspension is unnecessarily firm, which leads to an incredibly uncomfortable ride. The worst part is that this doesn’t get better with speed, so even on the smoothest motorway, you’re in for an uncomfortable journey. The steering just adds to this poor experience, as it feels disconnected and very heavy.

The interior is another mixed bag with the 2017 Aircross. The driver and passenger seats are excellent, with more than enough room for adults. However, the rear seats feel cramped and uncomfortable and are only really suited for small children. On the plus side, the Aircross did get a full five-star safety rating, which does make the car more appealing, especially to families.
