The Citroen C1 is classed as a city car and has been in production since 2005 in the same factory in the Czech Republic.

It is built alongside the Peugeot 108 and Toyota Aygo which are almost 100% identical, the only differences being in the body and badge.

All 3 of the cars are available with 4-seats and with the choice of being 3 or 5-doors in the body.

This 2018 model is a part of the second-generation that was introduced in 2014 and is only very slightly larger than the last.

The second generation lost the 1.4-liter turbodiesel engine but the smaller engine options did see an increase in power thanks to advancements in technology.

2018 C1 models have a 4 out of 5-star safety rating courtesy of Euro NCAP after they crash-tested a model several years ago.

The major downsides to the car that lost it the perfect score of 5 out of 5 stars were the pedestrian and safety assist tests.

With a lack of modern safety features in the C1 because of its small size, it will struggle to ever see a perfect score.
