2024 Audi A4 Owner’s Manual

Few sedan lineups have managed to capture as much mindshare as the Audi A series saloon members, including the Audi A4, A5, A6, and A8.

For the true automotive enthusiasts, it is not hard to see why. These cars are some of the best built in the class and often pack the muted good looks and the driving panache to match their reputation.

The 2024 Audi A4 takes the muted looks to the extreme, featuring a more clean, formal, and far less playful look than the rest of its siblings. Inside, the unit subscribes to the same ethos, sporting a largely quiet interior that prioritizes a functional, clean look over the gimmick-heavy route often taken by cars at this price point.

However, you should not mistake this lack of pomp in its looks for less classiness. Audi pays attention to the quality of materials used in this vehicle, as you get premium upholstery and fittings on the same level as other Audi Sedan superstars.

The standout change to the 2024 model is the standard inclusion of a heated steering wheel and driving safety features like lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and parking assist (optional Navigation Package adds traffic sign recognition capabilities to the safety system.)

Another significant change is the addition of remote engine start functionality (via the myAudi app) on all A4 45 units ( the Audi A4 comes in two main variants: the A4 40 and A4 45.)

While the Audi A4 may not be able to beat competitors like the Mercedes-Benz C-class in the exterior styling department, under the hood is where it leaves most of its rivals behind. The 40 and 45 come standard with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with all-wheel drive and a 12-volt hybrid system that outputs 201 horsepower on the 40 and 261 HP on the 45.

The only available transmission option is a dual-clutch 7-speed automatic.
