About The Integra

Earlier this year, the 5th-generation Acura Integra bagged the coveted 2023 North American Car of the Year™ award, narrowly beating the Genesis G80 EV and Nissan Z. According to NACTOY, the new Integra won on account of its engaging, fun-to-drive nature, sleek yet sporty design, versatility, premium features. These are just a few things that characterize the new Acura Integra, which debuted in the fall of 2022 in the US. It is the first Integra to come equipped with a turbocharged engine from the factory. Also, it is only available in a 5-door liftback body style, unlike its predecessor, which could only be had as a 3-door hatchback.

The new Integra matches its bold and daring exterior styling cues with a plush interior swathed in synthetic leather as standard, unlike the 4th-generation Integra, which had a more basic utilitarian cabin. Other interior features that the new Integra offers include heated sport front seats, an 8-way/12-way power driver’s seat, an available full-color 9-inch touchscreen with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay integration, an available 16-speaker ELS STUDIO 3D® audio system, and more.

The Integra has long been known for its sharp handling capabilities, and this generation certainly hasn’t dropped the ball. In real-time, its available adaptive damper system electronically adjusts the shock absorbers’ damping in response to road conditions and driver input, consequently delivering superb handling with excellent ride quality even when driving at the limit.

Powering all Integra trim levels except the Type S is a 1.5-litre turbo 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 149kW (200hp) and 260Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque, which is good for a 7-second sprint from zero to 100 km. The Type S model gets an exclusive 2.0-litre turbo 4-cylinder petrol engine that cranks out 238.6kW (320hp) and 420Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque. MotorTrend states that the Type S sprints to 100 km from a standstill in 5.2 seconds.
