About The F-350

The Ford F-350 is a full-size heavy-duty pickup truck that has been sold by Ford since 1999. As a heavy-duty truck, it falls under the Ford Super Duty range. Like the other models in the F-Series, there have been four generations as of 2017.

It is the second smallest model in the Super Duty range, sitting between the F-250 and F-450 pickups. It is also considered a staple of the Super Duty range.

It features the typical pickup truck configurations like the 2-door regular cab, 2-door Super Cab, and 4-door Crew Cab. There are also other options for box lengths and single and dual-rear-wheel drivetrains. There are also some trim options that feature four-wheel drive.

As with the rest of Ford’s full-size trucks, the F-450 goes up against the likes of the Chevrolet Silverado 3500 and the RAM 3500HD.

Trim levels are the same as the rest of the Super Duty Series. These consist of XL, followed by the XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited.

The latest version of the F-350 is outfitted with either a 6.2-liter V8 or a 7.3-liter V8 petrol engine. Diesel engines are limited to only a 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel. All of these engines are mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission regardless of trim.

The minimum towing capacity for the latest F-350 comes in at 5,455kg / ~12,026lb. With the optimum towing trim, this figure goes up to 9,545kg / ~21,043lb.
