About The Grandland X

In 2017, production of the Vauxhall Grandland X began in Germany, France and South Africa.

It is very close mechanically to the Peugeot 3008 both in terms of chassis and body.

In these owner’s manuals, Vauxhall covers everything from what fluids you need in order to keep your vehicle running smoothly to how often you should have maintenance done by an expert.

Underneath the car is a platform that is shared across many different companies and is used in models such as the Citroën C4 Picasso and the smaller Peugeot 308.

This model was brought in to replace several lines that were losing consumer demand, including compact SUVs (non-crossover) and people carriers.

The Grandland X sits in the compact crossover SUV segment of the automobile market, a booming industry that has exploded over the last decade.

To qualify to be a crossover SUV a car must possess the same body as a traditional SUV but underneath be based on the chassis of a road-going car.

This combination creates a lightweight auto that has loads of room inside for passengers, cargo and safety/comfort technologies.

When purchasing the Grandland X this level of safety and comfort features is controlled by the trim you choose, which can be one of the following:

  • Business Edition Nav
  • Design Line
  • Elite Nav
  • Elite Nav Premium
  • Griffin
  • SE
  • SE Premium
  • Sport Nav
  • SRi Nav
  • Tech Line Nav
  • Ultimate
  • Ultimate Nav

The trims with “Nav” in their title come with a satellite navigation system fitted into the infotainment system.
