About The Expert Tepee

The Peugeot Expert Tepee is a large multipurpose van that has been produced by Peugeot since 1995. During its time on the market, there have been three generations released.

It represents a rebadged version of the Citroen Jumpy. It can also be considered the largest van offered by Peugeot, being larger than both the Peugeot Bipper and Partner.

It features either a 4-door or 5-door van layout with front-wheel drive as the only drivetrain option. The Tepee version is a passenger carrier, while the regular Expert has the traditional light commercial van layout.

Trim options consist of the same found throughout Peugeot’s van range. These are the base S Premium, Professional Premium and Asphalt Premium.

Powertrains have included petrol and diesel variants, as well as the fully-electric e-Expert version. However, there have not been any petrol options released in the newer versions as they were discontinued in the second generation.

Diesel options typically range from several 1.6-liter inline-4 and 2-liter inline-4 engines. These have been mated with 5-speed and 6-speed manual gearboxes, as well as a 6-speed Aisian automatic transmission.

The e-Expert is driven by a 100 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor. Peugeot released this model, which shares the same platform as the Opel Vivaro-e, with the choice of either a 50 kWh or 75 kWH battery. These offer an estimated range of 200 km or 300 km respectively.

Peugeot also debuted a e-Expert Hydrogen after Opel announced the Vivaro-e Hydrogen. These models are powered by a 45 W fuel cell and a 10.5 kW lithium-ion battery in combination.
