About The Mii
The SEAT Mii is a city car that was manufactured by Volkswagen Group between 2011 and 2021. It is a rebadged version of the near-identical Volkswagen up! and Škoda Citigo. The only difference between the three models is the slightly different front and rear fascias.
During its decade on the market, there was only one generation released.
However, there was also the fully-electric version, the Mii Electric, that came later. Again, this is nearly identical to the Volkswagen e-Up and the Škoda-e iV apart from minor trim changes and rebadging.
Naturally, there is competition between these three models. Competing models from outside the family include the Kia Picanto and Fiat 500.
The Mii featured either a 3-door or 5-door hatchback layout and was driven by a front-wheel drivetrain. This was put on a Volkswagen Group New Small Family (NSF) platform.
During its time on the market, SEAT released four trim options. These consisted of the base SE, Design Mii, FR-Line, and Mii by Cosmopolitan. Interestingly, the FR-Line was the mid-range, while the Cosmopolitan version is simply a redesigned version by the popular women’s magazine.
Engine options were limited to only two 1-liter inline-3 engines. These came with either 44 or 55kW power outputs. SEAT did not release the higher output variants found in some VW models. Additionally, there was no diesel version available.
Both of these engines were mated with a 5-speed ASG gearbox.
The Mii Electric was powered by a 36.8 kWh battery and delivered 61 kW through a single e-motor.
