Interestingly the 2020 Citroën C4 Cactus isn't actually built on the same platform as the C4 compact car that it shares its name with.
Instead, the subcompact crossover SUV is built on the same platform as the smaller C3 subcompact car.
In 2020 the C4 Cactus was taken off production in the company's Spanish assembly plant in Villaverde.
Production continues for the line though in Brazil which started only in 2018 to serve the South American market.
You can find the car in a variety of different trims to suit various tastes and budgets including the Rip Curl.
The Rip Curl trim features an interesting feature in that it can direct more power towards the wheels with the most grip.
This makes it ideal for light offroad work as it mimics the expensive locking differential technology seen on heavier offroad vehicles.
