Bringing back the old Gladiator nameplate used on a pickup truck back in the 1960s, 1970s and some of the 1980s, Jeep is actively producing this car again.

There hasn't been a Jeep pickup truck since the Commanche was discontinued but now the company feels it is time to bring one back.

This 2020 version is the second model year for the revived version with 40,000 models being sold in the latter half of 2019.

Underneath the new pickup truck is the same platform used under the Wrangler so it definitely has the off-road capability.

It competes with strong rivals such as the Chevy Silverado and Ford F-150 but this model has a more aggressive appeal.

Buyers of the 2020 model can choose from a 3-liter turbocharged or 3.6-liter naturally-aspirated V6 mated to a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission.

All examples of the Gladiator will be four-wheel-drive to ensure they perform amazingly well off-road.

Mounted on the dashboard are a huge touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster displaying off-road information from sensors around the car.

To fully appreciate this amazing technology that may not seem so obvious at first you can check out the official owner's manual hosted on this page.

It's a PDF document put out by Jeep for the 2020 model year Gladiator and contains everything you will need to know to drive it safely and maintain it properly.
