Originally, the Citroen C3 was introduced to replace the Saxo line in 2002.

It was a much different car, moving away from the low sporty look of the old car and was designed using the CV2 as inspiration.

With cutting-edge start-stop technology, customers could now benefit from automatic fuel-saving measures when stuck in traffic.

Some of the manual transmission versions of the C3 even had paddle-shift gears behind the steering wheel, a feature commonly found on premium cars of the time.

Over the years since its introduction, the car has become wider and lower to the ground with each change to its design.

You can also find the platform that the 2021 car is built on under many other models sold by its parent company including Peugeot 208 and the Citroën C4 Cactus.

Currently, the C3 is in its third generation of design and looks very similar to its C4 sister model with optional Airbump moldings to protect the panels.

Engine options for the 2021 model include 2 different 1.2-liter gasoline-powered options and 2 turbodiesel-powered options too.

Buyers can choose between a 5/6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission to transfer the power from the engine to the front wheels.

In recent years a crossover SUV version of this model has been introduced to take over from this one called the C3 Aircross.

Within the 2021 Citroen C3 owner's manual featured on this page, you can learn how to maintain your example of the car and find useful information such as the tire pressures.

As well as this you can also learn about the new steering wheel controls and the digital instrument panel that sits in front of the driver.
