2021 Opel/Vauxhall Crossland Owner’s Manual

Up until the previous year, the Opel/Vauxhall Crossland was known as the Crossland X.

The company dropped the X from the name but kept it on the similar Grandland X, perhaps to avoid future confusion.

Production of the Crossland began in 2017 and all of them are assembled in Spain then exported across Europe and some of them into China.

It is classed as a subcompact crossover SUV, a segment of the auto industry that has recently exploded both in terms of supply and demand.

Underneath the Crossland is the same chassis used by many normal road-going cars such as the 2021 Peugeot 208.

This means the car would struggle off-road but also means that it is a lot lighter than a traditional SUV with a body-on-rails layout.

2021 models can be purchased with a range of engines from a 1.2-liter in displacement through to a 1.6-liter turbodiesel.
