Since 1951 the Toyota Land Cruiser has been in production as an off-roader in one format or another.
The original model was based upon a captured American Willys Jeep by the Japanese in World War 2.
That Willys Jeep would then go on to be the model that launches the Jeep brand and cement the word into our everyday life.
Over the years the off-road jeep has morphed into the full-size SUV that it is today, offering both amazing off-road capability and passenger comforts.
2021 marks the last year of the Land Cruiser production, 70 years after it officially began.
This last model is an example of the 2007 J200 version that brought the outside appearance up to modern standards.
In terms of technology, the SUV gained smart entry and engine starting systems, 10 airbags and 4-zone climate control inside the cab.
