Audi’s Q3 subcompact luxury crossover SUV was first launched back in 2011 but didn’t arrive in North America until 2015.

It is a subcompact luxury crossover SUV that shares its platform with the Skoda Kodiaq and the VW Tiguan.

This 2022 Audi Q3 is part of the second generation of models, and has gained some new standard equipment for the 2022 model year.

The 2022 Q3 remains the most affordable crossover in Audi’s range, starting at $35,900.

It’s powered by a 2.0L engine with 4 cylinders and a max output of 184hp and 221 lb-ft and a top speed of 130mph. At the higher end, Q3 engines can be tuned to 228-hp and 258 lb-ft of torque.

The powertrain is connected to an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission developed by the parent organization VW. That’s also coupled with Audi’s flagship Quattro AWD technology which has long been held up as a gold standard of AWD tech.

The 2022 Q3 offers Audi’s broad and impressive Singleframe grille and fenders, while the overall compact proportions make it ideal for urban driving, delivering both utility and efficiency.

Its EPA-rated fuel consumption is 23mpg in the city, 30mpg on the highway and 26mpg combined.

The new Q3 comes with 8 exterior color options, as well as alloy wheels from 18 to 20 inches.

A number of packages such as the Black optic sport package help drivers personalize the interior and exterior even further.

The interior of the 2022 Audi Q3 features a sleek, driver-centric design including a large digital instrument cluster, high-resolution infotainment touchscreen, driver’s seat with memory function, top-view camera, adaptive cruise control, panoramic sunroof and much more.

Audi is pretty generous with standard ADAS, which includes Audi pre-sense front: pedestrian detection, automatic braking and accident mitigation.

There’s also hill descent control, a high beam assist, parking assist, and a rear-view camera. Optional extras include lane departure warning, side assist and rear cross-traffic alert, among others.
