About The Traveller
The Peugeot Traveler is a multipurpose van that was released by PSA Group in 2015. It is technically a rebadged version of the Citroën Jumpy. It also has another mechanical twin in the Toyota ProAce.
There is also a light commercial variant that is called the Expert.
Since this debut, there has only been one generation released. It was later succeeded by the Fiat Talento.
It features a 4-door or 5-door panel or minivan layout and is powered by an engine mounted in the front, which drives the front wheels. It is capable of seating up to nine passengers and has been built on the PSA EMP2 platform.
Peugeot also offers two different wheelbase lengths, either a 2,925 mm or a 3,275 mm option.
There are only three trim levels for this model. These are the base Active, followed by Allure, and finally Business VIP. Although trim options are limited to only three levels, there is a great deal of customization in terms of the seating arrangements on offer.
Like its corporate cousins, Peugeot only offers diesel powertrains for the Traveller. These are either a 1.5-liter Ford inline-4 or a 2-liter PSA inline-4.
These are mated with the choice of either a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed manual or automatic.
There is also the e-Traveller, a fully-electric version that was released in 2019. This variant is driven by a 100 kW permanent-magnet synchronous motor. These are powered by either a 50 kWh or a 75 kWh battery.
The electric variant became the only model on offer as of January 2022 in an attempt to reduce CO2 emissions.
