2016 CR-V
The 2016 Honda CR-V is an example of some of the last of the fourth-generation and the last on offer with manual transmissions.
You can trace the compact crossover SUV's roots back to the mid-1990s when it was launched just a year after the Toyota RAV4.
These two cars kick-started the crossover SUV segment of the auto market and started a move away from traditional models that are still taking place today.
Honda took a Civic platform and added an SUV body on top, appealing to people who want a traditional SUV but didn't want the high running costs.
The success was explosive and every year since its introduction the CR-V has climbed in sales, the only risk it experiences now is from the heavy competition piling up from other automakers.
2016 models benefit from a face-lift the previous year where it gained the CVT from the current Accord model as well as several safety aids.
The higher trims also benefited from some cutting-edge technology such as lane departure warnings and adaptive cruise control.
You can learn all about these features (as well as the other ones included in the 2016 model) inside the official owner's manual.
