2018 Focus
In order to move away from region-specific compact cars the Ford Motor Company recruited the British and German teams to work together.
Plans were to create a compact car that could be sold to all territories that customers could customise and reduce the number of lines that needed maintaining.
The result was the Ford Focus, a car that has achieved an amazing sales record achieving over half a million sales in a year worldwide.
Customers can choose one of five layouts:
- A 3 or 5 door hatchback
- A 4 door sedan/saloon
- A 5 door estate/station wagon
- A 2 door coupe
- A 2 door coupe-cabrolet
Along with the layout options customers can choose from a range of engines turning their Focus into a modest runaround to a sports car.
Trim options were also vast with 2 performance trims adding turbocharged engines and up-rated sports car parts like Brembo brakes.
This 2018 version is an example of the fourth generation of design and brought with it a stylish face-lift and improved infotainment system.
The performance trims were removed for the 4th generation so you wont find any 2018 RS or ST models.
