2018 QX60

Infiniti QX60 Photo

The 2018 Infiniti QX60 is a sports sedan that looks to rival top European competitors such as the BMW 3-Series and the Porsche Panamera. The QX60 has a simply stunning design and backs up these looks with a great choice of engines, which will make driving very exciting. However, the 2018 model does fail to impress when it comes to the cabin, as well as the handling. Ultimately, the QX60 is a great car for an exciting drive, but other models are more well-rounded.

The 2018 model stays very similar to the 2017 QX60. The biggest changes come by way of new trim models- base and luxe. The base model comes with standard equipment and the luxe is fitted with all better parts all around, like all-new 20-inch wheels. Other than this though, the 2018 QX60 stays pretty much the same as its predecessors.

Under the hood, the Infiniti QX60 can be fitted with a variety of engines. Perhaps the best choice is the 400 horsepower twin-turbo V6 engine, which comes with an automatic gearbox, sending the power to the rear wheels. This engine will accelerate the QX60 from 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds, which is very impressive. Although, for everyday use, the engine does feel unrefined and even a little boring.

The handling is also disappointing. The suspension is great, and leaves you with a comfortable ride, without compromising performance. However, the steering feels disconnected and makes the QX60 incredibly cumbersome to drive. This really takes away from the fun of the engine on fast roads.

The interior of the QX60 also fails to keep up with its rivals. The design feels dated and old, and it seems the company hasn’t thought of a new design since the QX60’s first release in 2013. The QX60 also feels bare in terms of technology and infotainment.
