2019 Qashqai
The Nissan Qashqai is classed as a compact crossover SUV that entered production in 2006.
In the North American region, the 2019 model is known as the Rogue Sport and it is not sold in Japan, since 2014.
When Nissan brought this model into production it was to replace the Mistral compact SUV that was heavy and boxy.

Some models of the Qashqai are four-wheel-drive as an optional upgrade but the majority of them are front-wheel-drive and slightly lighter.
At the end of 2019, the American version "Rogue Sport" was given a face-lift which included new lights on the front and rear of the car with a new set of alloy wheels.
