In the early 2000s Citroen set out to replace the Saxo supermini, what they came up with was the C3.

It embraced new technologies not seen on other superminis at the time such as Start-Stop technology to improve its fuel economy.

Since then the car has gone through 3 generations of design with this 2020 model being part of the third generation introduced for the first time in 2016.

This 2020 Citroën C3 can only be purchased as a 5-door hatchback with one of four engines ranging from a 1.2-liter through to a 1.6-liter turbodiesel.

It is built on the same platform as many other of the parent company's models including the C4 Cactus and the Peugeot 208.
