In 2013 the production of the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class began, classed as a subcompact luxury crossover SUV.
What makes it a subcompact crossover SUV is the fact that it lacks any real off-road equipment and is much more at home on the road.
Then the luxury element is due to the level of quality of the car along with included extras typically premium add-ons from other manufacturers.
2020 marked the first model year for the second-generation GLA line and sees the car around 3cm longer than the last one.
It still has the chassis from the B-Class underneath the car but benefits from many new advanced engines.
Customers can opt for a modest fuel-efficient 1.3-liter engine under the hood through to a turbocharged 2-liter that comes with the AMG trim.
