2022 Sorento
This 2022 Kia Sorento is classed as a mid-size crossover SUV.
It is built on the same platform as the Hyundai Sonata and the Kia Sedona road cars, showing that it isn't designed to go offroad.
What it does do well though is provide a lightweight SUV-like package that boasts brilliant amounts of space for occupants and cargo inside.
For 2022 a new plug-in hybrid drivetrain has been added to the order sheet for the Sorento.
This PHEV version of the car has an internal combustion engine driving the front wheels with an electric motor driving the rear.
If you choose to drive electric-only then you can expect to get 32 miles of range from the battery before it runs out.
Both the ICE and the electric motor can work together to give you the traction of a four-wheel-drive also.
2022 Sorentos have the option for a third-row of seating in the rear that is described as small but useful for children.
