2022 C-HR
Not much is new for the 2022 Toyota C-HR, a subcompact crossover SUV from the Japanese automaker.
It sits at the affordable end of the market and lacks all-wheel drive, even as an upgradable option.
The original model came into production in 2017 for the 2018 model year among a background of other global car manufacturers launching similar models.
All the 2022 C-HR models are 5-door SUVs with a set of engine options that start at 1.-2liter and go to 2-liter.
For the 1.8-liter and 2-liter engines, you can also opt for a hybrid system to capture lost energy during braking to recycle when accelerating using the alternator as a motor.
Prices for the 2022 model year start at around $22,000 and finished up around $28,000 for the top-of-the-line "Limited" trim.
Underneath this Toyota C-HR is the TNGA: GA-C platform that also underpins the Corolla and Prius.
Having a platform that has already been tested and already extensively developed allowed the C-HR to hit the ground running.
Safety and comfort features were already researched and tested and so customers getting delivery of the first models found it a good solid car from day one.
To get an idea of what features you can expect to find in the 2022 model you can check out the official owner's manual.
