The Mitsubishi Mirage first appeared in the late 1970s when it was used on a subcompact car.

2015 brought about a face-lift for the line that included daytime running LED headlights, engine improvements and an infotainment system upgrade with Apple and Android connectivity.

Then 2019 saw the second facelift for the current generation which added driver-aids such as forward-collision-mitigation and radar sensors.
