Taking over from the 307 line that ran for just 5 years, the Peugeot 308 is slightly longer and wider.
The first cars started rolling off the production line in 2007 and were available as a hatchback, saloon, estate or even a hardtop-convertible.
For the second generation that was introduced in 2013, the hardtop-convertible was dropped, so you won't find any 2019 model year convertibles.
Thanks to advances in the platform it shares with the Citreon C4 Picasso is considerably lighter.
Inside, the dashboard is dominated by the iCockpit system in the 2020 model - displaying the car's data and infotainment system across two touchscreens.
