2019 Outback
Originally the Outback name was used for a series of trims available on the Legacy and then Impreza lines.
These trims added more rugged features to the cars including tough body panels, higher ground clearance and a more powerful drivetrain to deal with off-road driving.
They proved to be successful and managed to be included on many generations of their parent cars until 2015 when it became its own line.
Customers loved these crossover SUVs that bore many of the benefits of an SUV but with the lower running costs and econ friendly engines.
The 2019 Outback model was an example of some of the last of the fifth-generation and brought new features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
It performed fantastically during crash testing by JNCAP who awarded it their Top Safety Pick title.
