The Corsa model name first appeared during the 1980s on a model sold by Opel in Italy, Spain and France.

That same model was sold as the Nova in the UK by the British company Vauxhall.

Then in the 1990s, the Corsa name was made universal with many manufacturing plants pushing out the line worldwide.

This second-generation car lost its boxy look and went drastically into the other direction, sporting a bubble shape.

You could find this new model on sale as far as Australia sold as the Holden Barina and even in South America as the Chevrolet Celta.

The year 2000 saw the third-generation Corsa hit the showrooms, a very similar but slightly updated car with production taking place all over the world still.

It wasn't until 2006 the styling of the car was changed into a sharper look, sloping from the rear down to the front - a tradition that has been carried on till today.

This 2021 version of the Opel Corsas among some of the first of the "F" (sixth-generation) models that first became available in 2019.

It shares the same chassis as the Mokka model from the same company and the Peugeot 208 which has a very similar appearance.

The range of engines that can come with this 2021 car is reduced down to one of three 1.2-liter gasoline or one 1.5-liter turbodiesel option.

Buyers can opt for an all-electric version of the car called the Corsa-e which boasts a range of 211 miles (roughly 340 kilometers).
