2022 marks the return of the Opel/Vauxhall Corsa VXR, though this time it's an electric-only model.

It's the first time that VXR has been back in production since 2019 when it was discontinued due to the Corsa entering its sixth generation.

This new VXR rides on the back of the Corsa-e all-electric model but adds more power and a sporty appearance.

Underneath the new sporty version of the supermini features improved suspension, braking and steering.

This 2022 Vauxhall Corsa is built on the PSA CMP (EMP1) platform that is also shared with the 2022 Peugeot 208 and the 2022 Opel Mokka.

It is only available as a 5-door hatchback with one of three gasoline/diesel engines if you don't opt for the all-electric versions.
