2022 Toyota 4Runner Owner’s Manual

The 4Runner from Toyota has seen very little in the way of changes since it entered its fifth generation.

This 2022 model is very similar to the version that was on sale last year apart from the addition of the TRD Sport trim.

Its pickup truck sibling the Tacoma has had a TRD performance variant for a while already.

The engine in the new 2022 4Runner TRD Sport is the same as the rest of the trims but some sporty flare has been added on the outside.

Under this variation of the car are adaptive suspension dampers and 2-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, you will find faux leather instead of the standard clothed interior included with the rest of the 4Runner models.

All of the 2022 models are fitted with LED headlights as standard going forward.

What the 4Runner does do well though is stick to its rugged and tough heritage as many other SUVs switch to focus on comfort.

You can either have a 2.7-liter or a 4-liter V6 gasoline engine fitted into your version of the car mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
