The 2021 Escape is an example of the second-generation crossover SUV that first entered showrooms in 2015.
Customers were quick to notice that it sits upon the same platform as the Fusion model, demonstrating that the chassis is built more for road use.
New changes that were brought about by this second generation include a dual-clutch semi-automatic 6-speed transmission.
2019 brought about a face-lift and inclusion of driver-aids such as post-collision-braking, adaptive cruise control and evasive steering assist - all included with the 2021 model.
