2022 Ford Edge Owner’s Manual

The 2022 Ford Edge is still built on the same CD4 platform as before but is offered with a few new options than before.

That CD4 platform is the same that you can also find underneath the latest Fusion and the Lincoln Nautilus.

It is also still classed as a mid-size crossover SUV - sitting on a road-going chassis with a tall SUV-like body on top of it.

This leads to a low overall weight and thus lower running costs in the way of fuel and maintenance.

For the entry-level Edge, you can find a new "Black Appearance" package that can be added to the car to enhance the design.

By adding this package you will find your model sporting a new set of black 19-inch alloy wheels and black accents around the car.

Further up the trim list, you can find the "Adventure" package that makes your Edge a bit more rugged in appearance.

Choosing this design pack your SUV will be fitted with 18-inch offroad wheels and the design complemented with additional gray and black elements.

New options for the 2022 Edge include a lockable safe mounted in the center console to keep small valuable items in.
