2021 Land Rover Discovery Owner’s Manual

This 2021 Land Rover Discovery is an example of the third-generation design that first came in during 2017.

It saw a radical redesign of the previous car with a much more sloped appearance and luxury finish.

Underneath this new model is the same platform as the Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport.

Many of the same engine options are shared across the lines and for 2021 several new mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid options were added.

The new P400e engine was added to this model as well as several other Land Rover and Jaguar lines such as the F-Type for 2021.

This P400e combines a 2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor and battery pack to produce 400bhp when working together.

It continues to appeal to those wanting an offroad capable family car and with the 7-seat setup becomes even more attractive with large families.

For 2021 the Discovery is seeing harsh competition from the recently updated Defender that also offers 7-seats and is slightly more affordable.

The infotainment system in the car got a huge upgrade for this year and was now running the updated Pivi Pro operating system.

That Pivi Pro system can tap into many more aspects of the car and help declutter the dashboard, removing the buttons and knobs.
