The Ford Motor Company is probably the best-known car manufacturing brand in the world. They have a reputation for having a huge catalog of models that they offer as well as the mass-production techniques pioneered by the founder Henry Ford that is said to have revolutionized industry in the early 1900s. Bronco

Originally the Ford Bronco was a compact SUV that was first introduced in the 1960s. Due to changing consumer tastes and the price of oil rocketing the model morphed into the crossover SUV it is today

C-Max

Ford took the Focus platform and created the MPV C-Max version back in 2003. Over the years since the car has been given a hybrid drivetrain and was eventually discontinued in 2019 as the company wants to focus on crossover SUVs

Contour

For the USA market, the Contour was a rebadged version of the Mondeo that sold very well in European countries. It did not do well in the USA and so was discontinued in favour of the Fusion crossover SUV instead

Crown Victoria

The Crown Victoria was a popular sight on the roads of the USA for many years, especially with law control agencies. As car buyers evolved away from these big heavy V8s the model was discontinued and focus put onto the Taurus line

E-Series

The E-Series from Ford has been a long-lasting line of commercial vans that are a popular sight within the USA. They are highly-customizable and are offered with a wide range of engine options

EcoSport

This EcoSport subcompact crossover SUV was originally aimed at emerging markets such as Brazil but due to its popularity, it has been introduced to the US and UK markets. Underneath the car is the same chassis used on the modern Fiesta

Edge

Built on the same platform as the Fusion, the Edge is also a crossover SUV originally introduced in 2006. In recent years the Edge has been given various face-lifts and a high-performance ST trim added to extend its appeal among younger car buyers

Escape

In the USA this car is known as the Escape but in Europe, it is sold as the Kuga - Mercury had their own version called the Mariner for a short time too. It was one of the first adopters of hybrid technology, offering this as an option back in 2007

Expedition

One of only a small number of full-size SUVs left on the market today, the Ford Expedition first came onto the market in the mid-1990s. The chassis for this car is the same as the one used under the F-150 and a luxury version is sold as the Lincoln Navigator

Explorer

In the early 1990s, Ford was looking for a replacement for the original Bronco which led them to release the Explorer. It was originally classed as a compact SUV but has morphed over the years into the mid-size crossover SUV it is today due to customer demand

Explorer Sport Trac

Between the years 2000-2010, Ford produced the Sport Trac, a pickup truck version of the Explorer SUV. Unfortunately, the pickup truck market was diluted with many choices and this model offered limited customization which made it unpopular

F-150

In recent years the F-150 regularly achieves the title of "best-selling car in the USA" thanks to its wide appeal and constant evolution. Ford makes use of modern technologies and lighter/stronger materials to keep the pickup truck ahead of the competition

F-250

Compared to the smaller F-150, the F-250 is less of a domestic vehicle and more of a commercial one. It has features such as "folder pockets" and power outlets for tools that make it an ideal workhorse for many different professions that need to travel

F-350

The F-350 sits on the larger side of the middle of the Ford F Series pickup truck range in terms of size. It is offered with a wide range of engines and trims including both gasoline and diesel options

F-450

The F-450 is a huge pickup truck marketed by Ford of America mainly for commercial use. It is offered in a variety of different trims including XL, XLT, lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited

Fiesta

Released in the mid-1970s to take on the supermini segment of the auto market, the Ford Fiesta has evolved considerably. Ford has managed to pack a considerable amount of technology in the small car leading it to sell in massive numbers

Flex

The Flex was a full-size crossover SUV that ran from 2009 through to 2019. It sat on the Explorer/Taurus chassis and was only offered with 1 choice of V6 and 6-speed automatic transmission during its production lifetime

Focus

Ford set out to create a compact car that would sell well in both Europe and the United States, something that was hard to achieve. The Focus was built with huge customization options including a range of high-performance rally-inspired trims

Freestar

When the Freestar was launched in the mid-1990s it was originally called the Windstar. In 2004 Ford adopted the Freestar name for the minivan for just 3 years until the line was discontinued in favour of crossover SUVs

Fusion

This Fusion model shares its platform with the crossover SUV Edge from Ford yet it occupies the mid-size sedan market itself. Eventually, in 2018 the car was discontinued although sales of the stock continued until 2020

Galaxy

The Galaxy was developed jointly between Ford and Volkswagen to create the ultimate European minivan. VW sells their versions as the Sharan and the SEAT Alhambra across Europe. None of these models are offered in the USA

Maverick

The Maverick nameplate has been revived for the 2022 model year and is being applied to a crossover pickup truck. This new model uses the Focus chassis but with a pickup body on top, leading to lower running costs

Mondeo

The Mondeo was a big success for Ford of Europe, in the USA it didn't do well at all. Later it was replaced in the US by the Fusion which shared the same platform but was better tailored for the American market

Mustang

Back in the 1960s, Ford introduced the world to the first pony/muscle car by putting a powerful V8 inside of a standard road-going car. It kick-started a new generation of exciting motoring that to this day is still occupied by the Mustang

Mustang Mach-E

The Mustang Mach-E is an all-electric battery-powered SUV introduced in 2021. It is built on the same platform as the Focus and features doors with no door handles as well as a widescreen touchscreen infotainment system in the dashboard

Puma

In 2019 Ford brought back the Puma name previously used on a sports compact coupe as a subcompact crossover SUV. This new model is also built on the Fiesta platform like the original was with a range of hybrid-based engine choices

Ranger

The Ford Ranger was first introduced in the early-1980s to the US market with Europe seeing sales start in the 1990s. It is classed as a compact pickup truck with many configuration options to help the car appeal to many markets and demographics

S-Max

The S-Max was a large MPV manufactured by Ford for the European market. Production began in 2006 and it was debuted alongside the 2nd generation Galaxy - with both models sharing many similar components

Taurus

Introduced in the 1980s, the Taurus served as the company's mid-size car initially before being reimagined as a full-size one in 2007. In 2019 the model was discontinued in North America but is still produced in China for the local market

Transit

This Ford Transit took the world in the 1950s by storm thanks to its engineers designing it to handle more like a car. In the years since its introduction, the name Transit has dominated the commercial vehicle market as it evolves constantly

Transit Connect

The Transit Connect was a compact panel van marketed by Ford from 2002. It is sold with a wide range of engines and even a performance variant based on the Focus RS
